UPDATE (11:02 pm): The Baltimore County Police Department has not released any information on the description of the suspects. The last update on the Baltimore County public safety news site was 11:30 am which involved a gas leak at a men’s shelter.
Other media sites reported that the police are currently viewing body camera footage involving the incident that led the officers death. There are some reports that the officer may have been run over by the suspects vehicle which was described by witnesses as the Jeep.
The Baltimore County Police Department would provide no other details concerning the massive and ongoing search related to capturing those responsible for this horrific crime.
In a news conference broadcast live on various media outlets, the Baltimore County Police Department released very few details on the incident involving the death of the female officer.
Some witnesses reported the officer may have been run over by the suspects dark-colored Jeep vehicle. The vehicle was stopped in response to a burglary call in the area of Linwen Way in the Perry Hall section of Baltimore County. Police report that there was home that showed some sort of evidence of a potential burglary.
It was also reported that the window of the suspect vehicle had been shattered and broken glass was found on the roadway. Baltimore County Police did not provide any additional information concerning the manner or types of injuries regarding the now deceased female officer.
Police did state the suspect vehicle was in custody but did not provide any further details.
The Baltimore County Police refused to provide any description of the suspects. This question was not even asked by reporters at the conference until 10 minutes into the details involving the officer’s death.
The police did confirm that the next of kin of the deceased officer had been notified. It was also confirmed that chief Terry Sheridan was that Franklin Square Hospital where the officer was taken as a priority one injury.
The new search parameters for the suspects were announced as the area around the Seven Quarts area of Perry Hall. The police also did not confirm number of suspects they were searching for involving this ongoing inactive investigation. Additional media reports that the amount or number of suspects may range from at least one to four.
Numerous elementary and middle schools in the area are still on lock down. Parents were urged not to go to the location of the school rather call to check on their children.
The Baltimore Post has learned that the officer is a female and was pronounced deceased at approximately 2:50 pm.

According to sources, police were responding to the scene regarding a burglary in progress. The officer reportedly pulled over the suspect vehicle, after which the officer was critically wounded.
Residents were urged to remain in their homes as police searched for the shooter, and a helicopter has been seen circling the area where the shooting occurred.
The wounded officer was transported to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center as a priority one situation. There is a large police presence at the hospital.
Baltimore County Police are currently searching for dark-colored Jeep Wrangler.
