Kenwood High School, 501 Stemmers Run Road in Essex, will host the show, which represents the best of the northeast area, Thursday, May 11, from 5 - 7 p.m. in the gymnasium. Artworks will come from Chase, Essex, Glenmar, Orems and Victory Villa elementary schools; Middle River and Stemmers Run middle schools; and Kenwood High School. The show will feature art stations for children, and Chick-fil-A dinners will be sold.

Congratulations to Harry (H.B.) Bhandari, who will receive the Baltimore County Asian American Excellence Award on May 9, Baltimore County announced today. May is designated as Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
Bhandari emigrated from his native Nepal. He is an educator for Baltimore City Public Schools and an adjunct faculty member of Baltimore City Community College. He served as National Secretary of Young Democrats of America Minority Caucus, President of Linover Community Association, and Board Member in District Six Democratic and Civic Association Club. He is a member of the Baltimore County Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee.
