Horse, carriage tracks exposed in Massachusetts after recent nor’easters

It looks like the late 1800s in a part of Massachusetts as a result of the string of nor’easters impacting the region.

The Orleans Police Department said one of the most interesting things that came about from the past storms has been the exposure of horse and carriage tracks.


Photos posted on Facebook show the etching of the tracks just south of the main beach area.

“As near as we can tell, these are from the late 1800s or early 1900s,” the department said.
