“The Hunger Games” franchise might be over, but Johnny Weir is clearly still channeling Caesar Flickerman’s hosting style.

Former Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir transitioned to commentary after competing in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Games. Though Weir never medaled in the Olympics, his charisma in hosting with his right hand lady, Tara Lipinski (who won Olympic gold herself in 1998’s Nagano games), is certainly worth some kind of award.

Weir’s expertise in the sport of figure skating is one thing, but what he’s going to wear each night is usually as highly anticipated as his commentary. Back in 2014, his attire for Sochi was headline-worthy, and in 2018, his #OOTD (outfits of the day) are no exception.

After debuting quite a tall coif earlier this week, Olympic watchers were quick to point out that Weir bore a striking resemblance to another famous commentator who MCs an annual gaming event: Stanley Tucci’s character Ceasar Flickerman from “The Hunger Games.”

Tara Lipinski matching outfits, of course, are channeling Effie Trinket (played by Elizabeth Banks), and both Weir and Lipinski were quick to confirm on social media that their looks for PyeongChang are definitely reminiscent of Panem’s richest citizens in the Capitol.

So far, Weir has posted three of his Flickerman-esque outfits. But there is still plenty time left in PyeongChang for even more. May the odds be ever in his favor.
