House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told reporters that Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein told members of the House that there is “no evidence” former FBI Director James B. Comey asked the Justice Department for additional resources to investigate the Trump campaign’s possible ties to Russia, on May 19 at the Capitol.
