Spokane schools on lockdown after reports of a shooting

Schools in Spokane, Wash., were placed on lockdown Wednesday amid reports of a shooting near Freeman High School.

Officials posted on the Spokane Public Schools’ Twitter account that all campuses had been placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure after reports of a shooting. Local news outlets are reporting that police are on the scene.

Freeman High is located south of Spokane in eastern Washington state.
