Folks, we’ve not been shy about our call for violence against police officers to end.

Unfortunately, here we go again.

Over the weekend, two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies were heinously bushwhacked by a lone gunman.

This deliberate, pre-meditated attempt at a cold-blooded execution left a 24-year-old male deputy and a 31-year-old female deputy–the mother of a 6-year-old boy–fighting for their lives.

Even worse was that the shooting set off protests on the side of the gunman during which the protesters blocked the entrance and exit to the hospital emergency room where the two deputies were taken. Some even tried to push their way into the hospital.

According to published reports, the protesters also chanted vile abuse:

One is heard to say: ‘I want to deliver a message to the family of the pigs, I hope they f***ing die.’

Another tells police: ‘Y’all gonna die one by one. This ain’t gonna stop.’

A final slap in the face was added by NAACP Greater Springfield President Talbert Swan, who took to his Twitter account to denounce “Blue Lives Matter” supporters.

This hypocritical indifference to violence against police officers is like throwing gasoline-soaked sticks of dynamite on an already raging fire, folks.

Noted Black Conservative activist Candace Owens took to her own Twitter feed to denounce the silence of vocal BLM supporters:

The truth of the matter is that anyone outraged by what happened to George Floyd and Jacob Blake who isn’t outraged by the cowardly ambush of two police officers is a flat-out hypocrite.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll continue to say it again. Lives matter. There is no need for a clarifying word before that phrase.
