Read Time:54 Second

Snow could fall as a strong cold front moves through the Baltimore area on Sunday, though any dusting is expected to be accompanied by rain at first.

A chance of rain and snow showers is forecast for Baltimore’s Inner Harbor from Sunday morning up to around 2 p.m., when a slight chance of snow is expected, according to the National Weather Service. Further west, there might not be any rain, though snow showers are still expected.

Otherwise, Sunday is predicted to be partly sunny and breezy, with steady winds up to about 26 mph in the afternoon and gusts as high as 47 mph. A wind advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to around 5 p.m., as gusts could blow around unsecured objects and knock over tree limbs.

Monday’s forecast calls for a slight chance of snow after 1 p.m., though about 1 to 2 inches of snow is expected to accumulate starting at around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, with more rain and snow expected after the sun rises.
