[Fox Business] LARRY KUDLOW: Three strikes and you’re out, Joe
Three big news stories at the beginning of the week, and Joe Biden is on the wrong side of each one. Not on the wrong side by a little, but he’s on the wrong side by a lot.
First, the prosecution’s opening statements in the Trump New York jury trial were made by the Biden Justice Department’s former number three, Matthew Colangelo, which shows just how involved the Biden White House and Justice Department are in this crazy prosecution of Donald Trump.
Ironically, the DOJ initially passed on the prosecution, as did the Federal Election Commission. But Biden is involved. Big time.
Also, what’s illegal about nondisclosure agreements? They’re used all the time.
And, what’s illegal about candidate Trump running for president and trying to influence the election? It’s called “campaigning.” But there’s something very wrong with President Biden trying to keep Trump off the campaign trail, and thus interfering with the election. In other words: campaigning, ok. Interfering, not ok.
Plus, Mr. Trump’s gag order prohibits him from talking about Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels, but they are constantly trashing him. There’s something wrong about that.
Cohen’s a serial liar. Daniels owes Trump about a half million dollars. Strike one for Joe Biden.
COLUMBIA JEWISH STUDENTS ‘NO LONGER FEEL SAFE,’ SAY ANTI-ISRAEL MOB CHASED THEM OFF CAMPUS
Then comes the antisemitic campus riots at Columbia, Yale, and elsewhere. Joe Biden has expressed sympathy for the Jewish students who are under attack. But sympathy is not the same as a Justice Department or FBI investigation and prosecution of antisemitic hate crimes and hate speech.
These elite colleges are guilty of both. University laws are being violated. Classes have been cancelled. But, remember, Joe Biden has become the principal defender of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). And DEI has been the principal trigger behind the whole antisemitic movement. Until these university trustees are forced to change, they’re not going to change. Joe Biden could force change, but he won’t. Why?
Many reasons, but think Dearborn, Michigan, for one. So the wave of antisemitism on college campuses is strike two for Joe Biden.
The third news item this week is Earth Day, where Joe Biden wants to spend another $7 billion on a climate change solar slush fund. This is just the latest installment of the Biden Green New Deal climate bank ATM. This is strike three for Joe Biden. Why?
Because most folks don’t care about Earth Day or climate change. A Gallup survey released today shows that 55% worry about inflation. 53% about crime and violence. 48% worry about illegal immigration. And only 37% are concerned with the environment.
A couple of weeks ago, a Wall Street Journal headline read: “Biden Is Spending $1 Trillion to Fight Climate Change. Voters Don’t Care.” Voters surveyed in seven swing states showed immigration was most important at 25%, economy 22%, inflation 13%, abortion 10%, and climate change… 2%.

So, in other words, Americans are far more worried about “Bidenflation” and illegal immigrants than climate change. Know what? Three strikes and you’re out, Joe.

[Fox Business] Delta Air Lines gives workers 5% raise, boosts starting pay
Delta Air Lines employees are getting a 5% raise across the board and minimum starting pay will be raised to $19 an hour starting June 1, the company announced Monday.
“Delta’s leading position comes thanks to a simple concept that dates back nearly a century – invest in our people first, and they will deliver great service and experiences for our customers,” CEO Ed Bastian said in a memo to all employees. “That’s exactly what you do, and it always sets us apart.”
The pay hikes announcement comes roughly two months after Delta employees received their annual profit-sharing bonus in February, which amounted to 10.4% of their eligible earnings, or around one month’s salary.
UNITED SAID IT LOST $200 MILLION FROM THE TEMPORARY GROUNDING OF THE BOEING 737 MAX 9
Delta said that including the 2024 raises, the airline has boosted compensation for its frontline workers by 20-25% since 2022.
The Associated Press noted that the raises also come as Delta is fending off a unionization push.

The outlet reported that the Association of Flight Attendants is currently trying to organize Delta’s flight attendants, and hopes to have enough signatures from employees by the end of the year to request a union election.
According to the AP, roughly 20% of Delta’s workforce is represented by a union, which is the lowest percentage out of the four largest airlines in the U.S.

[Fox Business] Amazon to launch Prime Air delivery drones to Arizona city
Amazon will bring its Prime Air delivery drones to a new U.S. city this year.
The tech giant on Monday identified the West Valley portion of Phoenix as the next American city slated to get the drones and their delivery services.
Amazon said it was aiming to introduce the technology to West Valley customers later in the year.
It will first require the company to get its Federal Aviation Administration and local government approvals lined up. It said it was “currently working” with officials on that.
AMAZON CEO ANDY JASSY TOUTS AI PUSH IN SHAREHOLDER LETTER
The drones will fly out of a site beside its Tolleson same-day delivery location in what the company described as its “first time” they will be “fully integrated” into its network.
Amazon simultaneously revealed Monday it would stop operating the drone facility it has run in Lockeford, California, since 2022. That city, which is northeast of Stockton, will still have access to other types of deliveries, per the tech giant.
It cited a strategy to “prioritize our resources to continue growing the program” as the reasoning for the closure.
AMAZON ABANDONS CASHIER-LESS CHECKOUT SYSTEM, ‘JUST WALK OUT,’ IN FAVOR OF SMART SHOPPING CART
Meanwhile, its Prime Air drone deliveries in College Station, Texas, will remain available, with its sights set on additional places in America next year.
In the fall of last year, Amazon also indicated it wanted to offer the drone deliveries in Italy and the U.K. using its MK30 drone, on top of a new location in the U.S.
Another major retailer, Walmart, has also been working on its own drone delivery. In January, it increased the number of households in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with access to the service by 1.8 million.
