Mayor Richard Daley, who was in charge during the Chicago Police riots of 1968, was quoted as saying, “We are going to keep the streets open.”

Everyone knew that you did not give him any lip or shit and if you did you usually got your head busted in. Below is a video of how the police handled demonstrators in 1968 which is a far cry to how protestors are handled today.

Today, the police are all hands and can not use any type of weapons on demonstrators. Now I will show you how things are handled in today’s world.

Today’s cops are mollycoddelling all demonstrators.

It does a soul good to see some people get the shit get kicked out of them.
