[Baltimore Sun] West Annapolis set for Oktoberfest on Sunday

Read Time:40 Second

The West Annapolis Business Association’s annual Oktoberfest runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Oktoberfest is free, family-friendly, and inspired by the two-week festival in Munich, Germany, which celebrates Bavarian culture, food, and beer and dates to 1810.

The two-block-long street festival is sponsored by RAR Brewing and Chessie’s Wharf, both of which will host beer gardens. There will be live music throughout the day, performed by local musicians, and more than 100 vendors.

West Annapolis Elementary School will be holding its Fall Festival at the same time just a block over, at Annapolis Street and Melvin Avenue.

The West Annapolis Business Association is a community-building organization that works with businesses to host annual events like Oktoberfest and the Clydesdales parade in December.
