The Baltimore County Police Department has obtained a warrant for the arrest of the teenager accused of shooting 50-year-old Mark McKenzie in Rodgers Forge in September, according to Baltimore County Councilman Mike Ertel.
On Sept. 13, Baltimore County Police responded to a report of a shooting around 11:30 a.m. off Dunkirk Road.
Fifty-year-old Mark McKenzie was shot during an attempted robbery.
Police have been working diligently and expect to have the suspect in custody soon, Ertel said.
FOX45 reached out to Baltimore County Police for additional details, but they said there is no further information at this time.
“We hope to bring this investigation to a conclusion soon,” Baltimore County Police officials said.
