Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Monday, Oct. 7.

Field hockey

South Carroll 4, Winters Mill 0: The Cavaliers bounced back from suffering their first county loss with a shutout win. Dakota Clemens scored twice and Emily Maynard had a goal and two assists. Megan Maynard also scored and Alayna Enoff had an assist. Caelin Lopes needed to make just two saves to earn the shutout.

Manchester Valley 3, Century 0: A balanced offense keyed the Mavericks’ win. Shelby Wurzburger had a goal and an assist. Amanda Herrold and Georgia Wurzburger also had goals. Allie Largent and Sophie Baer had assists. Makayla Shoaf made one save in the shutout.

Bryn Mawr 7, McDonogh 0: Zoe Herkalo made five saves to earn the shutout for the Mawrtians. Addie Polakoff and Penelope Kousouris each had two goals with Kousouris handing out two assists and Polakoff one. Simone Schwartz, Sabine Schwartz and Cate Tortolani also had goals.

Crofton 8, Arundel 0: Olivia Feeley scored four goals in the Cardinals’ win. Charlotte DeForest backed her with two goals. Also in the win, Grace Morris had a goal and an assist, Maddy Gummeringer scored a goal and Laili Afzal handed out two assists.

Towson 6, Perry Hall 1: In the loss, the Gators got a goal from Sophie Blevins.
