Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Field hockey

South Carroll 3, Huntingtown 1: Alayna Enoff and Rowan Miller each had a goal and an assist to lead the host Cavaliers over the Hurricanes. Emily Maynard also scored off an assist from Olivia Carter. Caelin Lopes made two saves for South Carroll.

Perry Hall 5, Carver A&T 2: Sophie Blevins had one goal and three assists to lead the host Gators over the Wildcats. Other standouts for Perry Hall included: Makayla Kurcoba (2 goals), Victoria Sanchez (1 goal), Brittney Hernandez (1 goal) and Delaney Evans (1 assist)..

Chesapeake-AA 2, Old Mill 1: Bryn Vickery and Lucy Culp each scored in the second half to lift the Cougars over the Patriots. Addison Hoffman gave Old Mill a 1-0 lead in the first half.

Fallston 2, St. Paul’s 2: The Cougars earned a tie in a nonconference game. Sydney Grafton and Lilly Burns each scored goals for Fallston with Layla King assisting on both. Auggie McCarthy made 16 saves in goal.
