[Baltimore Sun] Victim’s identity sought in suspected stabbing after remains found last year in West Baltimore
Baltimore Police are seeking the identity of a man whose remains were found last year in West Baltimore.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled that the man, whose body was found Sept. 5, 2023, had died by homicide in a suspected stabbing, police said in a Tuesday news release.
Police found the man’s remains while responding to the 800 block of North Fremont Avenue, at the border of the Harlem Park and Upton neighborhoods. The body “appeared to have been in that location for some time,” police said.
Police said Tuesday that they are seeking the identity of the man “in light of the condition of the victim’s remains,” releasing a rendering of what they believe the man looked like.

Regarding the discovery of human remains on September 5, 2023, in the 800 block of North Fremont Avenue, the Medical Examiner’s Office has classified the manner of death as a homicide by stabbing.
