[Baltimore Sun] Baltimore City firefighters battling large fire on Ponca Street

Baltimore City Police and firefighters are responding to a report of a large fire on Ponca Street. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
Shortly before 4:30pm the Baltimore City Fire Department responded to1500 Ponca St to a call regarding a building fire. Upon arrival, units found the asphalt processing plant with visible fire showing and heavy smoke. The fire quickly spread to a 2alarm. One victim with serious injuries was stabilized and transported to a local hospital.
The fire is being contained.
The cause of fire is currently under investigation.
