A new television ad for Republican Baltimore County executive nominee, Al Redmer, Jr., will begin airing today across broadcast networks. The 30-second commercial features Gov. Larry Hogan and is the second ad aired for the Redmer campaign during this year’s general election.
Hogan, who endorsed Redmer in September, has been a strong supporter of the candidate who has served as Maryland’s insurance commissioner since 2015.
“As a close friend and a member of my cabinet, Al Redmer and I have worked side-by-side. Now, Al wants to bring our common sense, low tax, pro-education policies here to Baltimore County,” Gov. Hogan says in the ad.
In a press release sent by the Redmer campaign, Hogan said, “Al Redmer is the most qualified Baltimore County Executive candidate in decades, and he is the only candidate in this race with the experience and vision to get Baltimore County back on the right track.” Hogan said, “Together, Al Redmer and I will be strong partners and will work together to change Baltimore County for the better.”
Of Hogan’s support, Redmer stated, “I remain immensely grateful to Governor Hogan for his strong endorsement and steadfast support throughout this campaign. Governor Hogan’s leadership has greatly benefited the state of Maryland, and I want to bring that same brand of pragmatic, results-focused leadership to Baltimore County.”
“As County Executive,” Redmer said, “I’ll work side by side with Governor Hogan to demand accountability in our schools, encourage job creation, and make Baltimore County safer and more affordable.”
Hogan and Redmer will hold a Get Out the Vote rally tonight, October 30, in White Marsh where they will be joined by local candidates for office. Redmer’s campaign expects a crowd of nearly 200 supporters.
