Once again, social media played an integral part in the reporting of a news story that, after some thorough verification, turned out to be true. This particular case involved an assault on a Baltimore County school resource officer at the Holabird Middle School.

The Baltimore Post reported on this incident once the Baltimore County Police Department finally confirmed that the officer indeed was assaulted. The Post was in contact with the police on several occasions attempting to update the story, but it seemed they were reluctant to release any more details.

Does anyone else get the feeling that politics played a role in this event?

We did, so we decided to push back hard to provide our readers with the truth.

Baltimore County Executive John Olszewski Jr., or Johnny O as he prefers to be called, made it quite clear that his agenda would include education and public safety. He even repeatedly used the slogan,”Help us make this a better Baltimore County.”

Violence within BCPS should be alarming to the county executive and council members. With that in mind, the Post decided again to elicit a response from 7th District Councilman Todd Crandell.

Just like our many previous attempts to contact Mr. Crandell, the response was the same. There was no response from Councilman Crandell!

Councilman Crandell prefers to use the lame-stream media to control the narrative. By doing that, he avoids questions that probe his often inaccurate, misleading, and distorted propaganda. Politicians are infamous for using this type of strategy to maintain their grip on power at all costs, even if it involves outright lies.

The narrative of what took place at the middle school begins on page 6 of the following eight-page report.

After reading this report, we wonder if this is what the Progressive/Socialist/Democratic county executive meant when he said, “Making this a better Baltimore County?”

As always, our motto is, “You read; you decide.”
