At approximately 7:30 am on Sunday, August 11, members of the Baltimore County Police hostage negotiator team and SWAT personnel responded to the Charlesmont apartment complex located near the intersections of East Collingham and Walford Drive for a report of a barricaded subject.
Unofficial reports indicated that the suspect, known as “Ray,” allegedly threatened police with a 9 mm handgun and shotgun while barricading himself inside his apartment. Negotiators can be heard attempting to coax the suspect into surrendering himself.
At approximately 9:57 am, the suspect, who is seen in the photos and video below wearing a white t-shirt, was taken into custody by members of the Baltimore County SWAT team.
