(Publisher’s note: The Baltimore Post is continuing to investigate the tragic death of a TPA worker. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.)
The Baltimore Post has filed a Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) request for the 911 audio related to an incident at White Marsh Mall on April 24, 2021.
We received several reports of a large disturbance that took place at the mall. Our sources tell us the incident involved a number of juveniles and required a sizable police presence.
The video below shows the police response to the incident.
Sadly, if you check the Baltimore County Police webpage for Precinct 9, you’ll see absolutely nothing about this incident.
So much for the promises of transparency, folks.
The Post chose to file the MPIA request because of a similar situation that occurred at the Essex Fair several years earlier.
We believe it is important for the public to have a complete understanding of what happens in the area, especially when that information can help citizens make safe judgments regarding their travels or activities.
The Post will follow up with the information we receive from the Baltimore County Police Department when we receive it.
