Celebrating the true meaning of Labor Day

Rather than focusing on a three-day weekend, the end of the summer season, or changing fashion trends, we should remember the proud men and women who sacrificed to build this great nation. (Photo Credit: Daily Mail)

Today is Labor Day.

For many, this day is:

  • The unofficial end to the summer season
  • A day off from work
  • Part of a three-day weekend
  • The day when fashion trends change (e.g., “wearing white after Labor Day”)

But how many of us know what Labor Day is truly about?

This is the day we should celebrate the hard-working men and women who built this great nation.
