Police need to send a strong message to potential rioters

As the jury deliberates the fate of Kyle Rittenhouse, police in Wisconsin should think back to last year’s riots … and the inaction that led to the events that were front and center during the trial.

We suggest that the police send a stronger message to those potential rioters who will rise up if Rittenhouse is found not guilty or (as we suspect will happen) found guilty of a lesser charge.

We sincerely hope that they won’t let the rabble-rousers have their way again. If the police stand idly by while the town burns again, they have nobody to blame but themselves.
