Getting to the bottom of Bevins’ beef with the Inspector General

We’re not gloating, folks, but we totally called this one.

When we published our articles about the county council’s efforts to diminish the Baltimore County Inspector General’s ability to uncover corruption and wrongdoing, we said that those who were most vocal had the most to hide.

And, thanks to FOX 45’s investigative work, we know that we were correct.

Councilwoman Cathy Bevins, who blasted Inspector General Kelly Madigan about the amount of money spent on business cards, was caught moving outside her councilmanic district.

Caught red handed, we should add.

Sadly, this—like so many other misdeeds within the county government—will get swept under the proverbial rug. Bevins has already thrown someone else under the bus blamed the whole incident on getting ‘bad advice’ from the council attorney.

According to the story, Bevins is now living in an apartment within her district. We’re sure, if you knock on that apartment door, you’ll find her there. (WINK) jeff goldblum knock knock knock catch up GIF
