
We’ve said it plenty of times—if you want to find the corruption in Baltimore County, just follow the money.
And the money flows plentifully from the developers into the coffers of those in office.
When the news came out that Johnny O and the county council were trying to handcuff the Inspector General, we said that there had to be some reasons behind that move.
Simply put, Kelly Madigan and her minion, Mr. Quisenberry, were probably getting too close to finding skeletons in certain people’s closets.
When Councilwoman Cathy Bevins went after Madigan, we figured there was something behind Bevins’ venom for the IG.
Then we found out the reason for that venom.
We also heard Johnny O, who praised Madigan when he hired her, suddenly do an about-face and talk about how the IG office needed some type of ‘oversight.’ We figured it would only be a matter of time before we found out why.
And now we have.

As usual, follow the money.
Now, anyone who believes that Johnny O’s aides acted without his knowledge, or permission, is a fool.
COVID or no COVID, our county executive is going to have a lot of explaining to do very soon.
Or this will all get swept under the proverbial rug like so many other misdeeds in our county.
