Folks, the old idiom says that a leopard can’t change its spots.
We’d like to add that neither can a RINO.
Governor Larry Hogan is in his final months running (or ruining) our state. He’s already let folks know that he has no desire to be one of Maryland’s U.S. Senators, and we’re pretty sure that is because he has his sights set on the Oval Office.
God forbid…
Now that Hogan is aiming for higher office, he’s gone on a campaign to get the men and women who walk the thin blue line on his side. The RINO has been charging full speed ahead on his ‘re-fund the police’ kick.
Knowing that Hogan rarely makes a move without having an ulterior motive, we suspected from the start of this newly found respect for law enforcement that he was looking to get all the law and order types on his side come the next presidential primary.
Now we also know another reason Hogan is making this push to be seen as a law enforcement supporter:
Larry Hogan on Twitter: “I’m excited to see my daughter Jaymi launch her campaign for State’s Attorney in St. Mary’s county. As a tough prosecutor, Jaymi knows the local justice systems are too lenient on repeat violent offenders. https://t.co/NMBK1UHnUu / Twitter”

After all, Jaymi can’t have daddy looking like he’s anything but a staunch supporter of those who wear badges if she’s to have any shot at getting elected.
Once again, The Baltimore Post sees through the political smoke show the RINO is blowing out his…um, er…enclosure.
