Color us shocked, folks. (Well, not really…)
Tim Fazenbaker—who is running against Pat’s wife, Valerie, in the Republican primary for District 6—levied the serious accusations against the McDonoughs on his Twitter feed today.
Tim Fazenbaker MD02 on Twitter: “Pat McDonough is caught here stealing campaign signs! Pat says he is a Republican and is America First! I don’t think so! My signs have been stolen since the end of April and Pat hates the fact I support President Trump!! Remove Pat from the ballot today! pic.twitter.com/i1e1jDfDXY / Twitter”

As you can see, Fazenbaker provided photographic evidence of McDonough allegedly commiting the crime.

Meanwhile, someone else piled on by reposting a RedMaryland published article from 2018 taking issue with McDonough’s campaign finances.

Folks, in a court of law, a suspect is innocent until proven guilty. But in the court of public opinion, there is no such presumption of innocence. Charges levied, especially when they are accompanied by photographic evidence, are often believed. The perpetrator is then tried, convicted, and ‘executed’ (not literally) by those who take on the role of judge, jury, and executioner.
And we want to remind you that this news site isn’t a courtroom. There’s no judicial official here determining what’s allowed to be argued and keeping things objective.
To that end, we have plenty of reasons to toss objectivity to the trash heap here and vote guilty.
We’ve had our dealings with Mr. McDonough over the years. We’ve heard things come out of his mouth that were blatantly false, disgusting lies. We’ve been subjected to his empty promises.
It’s because of our history with Mr. McDonough that we can honestly say we’ve lost all respect for him.
Which is why we’re not bothered publishing the allegations, the evidence, and the verdict from Twitter followers that Mr. McDonough is guilty as charged.
Prepare the proverbial gallows for the McDonoughs. It appears they’ve incriminated themselves and provided the proof needed to declare their respective candidacies dead on arrival.
