This is a difficult column to write, folks.

On Christmas Eve, The Baltimore Post was contacted by the bereaved widow whose husband of 25 years was killed by an illegal. That illegal, you may recall, then fled before his court date.

Mrs. Kennedy Sookal called us to express her gratitude for our diligent coverage of the grave injustice inflicted upon her family due to the sanctuary status of Baltimore County.

Mrs. Sookal didn’t just lose her husband–she lost her sole provider, which has made things even more difficult for her close-knit family as they spent their first Christmas without him.

In a subsequent conversation right after Christmas, Mrs. Sookal described how she spent Christmas at her husband’s gravesite.

We asked if Baltimore County State’s Attorney Scott Shellenberger ever contacted her family regarding the whereabouts of Carlos Danielle Rabines, the indicted illegal whose actions took the life of Mr. Sookal. Not surprisingly, the answer was a resounding NO!

Yet, while Mrs. Sookal’s family grieved over the holiday, those in charge had a holly and jolly and a merry. For example, Baltimore County Executive Johnny O certainly had a nice Christmas, as this Facebook post indicates:

It’s been a great house for us, but we are ready to pass it to a new family. If you or anyone you know is in the market, give (Redacted) a call.

Like the Grinch who stole Christmas, Johnny O has set up a perfect storm for Baltimore County thanks to the unlawful sanctuary status for illegals.

Reminder: When asked by the Post if he had anything to say to the grieving Mrs. Sookal, Johnny O refused to provide any comment.

Reminder 2: Baltimore County State’s Attorney Scott Shellenberger attempted to cover up this grave injustice by the Progressive/Socialist/Democratic Party.

Folks, these corrupt politicians are destroying Baltimore County.

Finally, a source told The Post that the father of the young illegal suspect, who lived in a rental property was seen moving out of the residence.

Why can’t the pols see that catering to illegals will cause serious issues for our citizens … like the Sookal family.
