Running down the list of elected officials who sold their souls to defeat Kate’s Law
Source: Blood Money, Part 1
Unthinkable, yet we still vote for him
(Blogger’s Note: I will be profiling all of the elected officials from our area who appeared on a list as having taken special interest money to vote down important legislation. This is the first of a long, and unfortunate, series.)
Does anyone wonder why Congress’ rating is lower than those dancing to the “Limbo Rock” recording? (How low can you go?)
I give you a prime example of why people are not happy with our elected leaders these days. I am referring to “selling one’s soul,” or—in this case—the soul of shooting victim Kathryn “Kate” Steinle, the 32-year-old woman who was shot to death by an illegal immigrant in the “sanctuary city” of San Francisco.
Did I mention that the illegal had been deported five times for numerous felonies?
On that fateful day, Steinle died in the arms of her father because a sanctuary city and its left-wing supporters flaunt the laws of this land that many fought and died to preserve.
In this series of blog posts, I will focus on the “blood suckers”—not a harsh or disrespectful term, but one that rings true. Folks, we are talking about people who are fine with harboring cold-blooded murders who are in this country illegally, plain and simple.
No rocket science in this one.
Today’s blood sucker is Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger, who took $57,110 of blood money from special interest groups that were intent on derailing Kate’s Law. This law deals with illegals who commit violent crimes, are deported, and return to commit more violent crimes.
I’ll let Mr. O’Reilly explain the detail.
Now here is a clip of a San Francisco lawmaker, who—like Ruppersberger—flaunts the Constitution of this great nation.
Watch this clip.
How can this woman proudly justify 25 years of defying the laws of this land. What if it was her daughter or family member slaughtered in such a manner? She speaks about the FOX News team as a “hate group.” Why? Because they point out the truth?
Am I going to be labelled a practitioner of hate speech because this article reveals the blood money Ruppersberger gladly took? Do you see any of this information on the Congressman’s website?
Hell no! Hype triumphs over truth.
On his webpage, you also won’t read about any of his attempts to cease any land for developers under his failed attempt at eminent domain.
Listen to this interview I did with Dutch, particularly the section where the subject of Fort Howard is raised. I want you to listen to his answer to one of my questions, in which he states, “I don’t know what the situation is.” Yet, he had just given the Dundalk Eagle an interview in which he stated that the then Secretary of the VA, Eric Shenski, kept the Congressman updated, and Dutch said he was pleased with the results.
How can the 14-year (enough already) Congressman justify taking blood money when he is a former member of the Armed Services Committee, where the security of this nation was one of his key responsibilities? His job is to know the score, and the body count is rising.
This behavior is unacceptable, and—in my opinion—it’s time for some new leadership.
Just here in our own back yard, how many motor vehicle deaths and homicides have to happen before we wake up as a nation and take back our country?
Instead, we cower to the small liberal percentage and whimper like scolded children. And anyone who dares speak out is termed, among other things, a racist, homophobe, and/or anarchist, just to name a few.
While this nation faces a $19 trillion (and rising) debt, we keep electing the same people back into power as they laugh all the way to the bank.
Congressman Ruppersberger is responsible for bringing Move to Opportunity (Section 8) en masse into the county. He was behind the development of Fort Howard, even though he know the focus was on the developer making money rather than on the veterans. This issue was discussed at the only meeting regarding Fort Howard by the developers, and a top aide to the congressman was available. Check out the interview for yourself when the Congressman said he was not briefed on the issue.
And last, but not least, was Mr. Ruppersberger’s statement that traffic at Fort Howard would not be a problem because seniors don’t drive that much.
In my article about that issue, the link to the Eagleinterview with the Congressman is gone. That link would have clearly defined that his statement was misleading. The loss of the link to the original interview happened after the recent sale of the Dundalk Eagle.
Next on the list of votes for sale and who defended Hillary at the Benghazi hearings is Congressman Elijah Cummings.
Everyone has a price, it seems…
