Actor and Producer Eddie Murphy confirmed there will be a “Coming to America 2” in theaters on Aug. 7, 2020.The project has been in the works for several years, Variety reports . Murphy is the producer of the film.The original movie was directed by John Landis. In it, Murphy played an African prince who traveled to New York to get out of an arranged marriage. His co-stars include Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, Shari headley and Jon Amos.”Coming to America: grossed $300 million worldwide at the box office and is regularly aired on television.
