A hearing will be held tonight at 6 PM at the North Point Library regarding the cleanup efforts at the old Bethlehem Steel site currently owned by Tradepoint Atlantic.
The meeting will be conducted by officials from the Maryland Department of the Environment.
Recently the Post reported on an issue pertaining to another matter involving TPA’s rock crushing at the site and the potential for contaminated dust impacting surrounding areas of eastern Baltimore County.
According to MDE officials, out of the $48 million set aside by TPA for remediation of the former Beth steel property, only $7 million has been spent towards those efforts.
