Public hearing scheduled on Baltimore County Schools budget

Major cuts may be coming to Baltimore County Schools.The community has a chance to weigh in on the budget for the school system in the 2020 fiscal year Tuesday night.This comes after Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski says the county faces an $81 million dollar budget shortfall. The public hearing is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the school board’s headquarters in Towson. If inclement weather forces the meeting to be postponed, it will take place Wednesday, February 13.
