Congress proposing 100% increase in funding for H-2B Visa program

Update:  Baltimore City just made Fox News for their out-of-control murder rate.  The city and mayor are calling on the FBI for help but the real answer lies in failed leadership from the top on down as the Post will show in our investigation.

As this country drifts farther left into a divided nation, The Post received a press release from Numbers USA, a watchdog group that monitors immigration issues in this country.

The following is a copy of that press release, Sent following the announcement that Congress is set to increase funding for the H-2B Visa program by 100%.

What is troubling is that 60 Minutes produced a feature on the issue, in which a hospital was forcing American workers out of their IT jobs and ordering them to train Indian workers who spoke little English.  In addition to that abuse, many of the Indian workers did not have a command of the English language, yet were responsible for making life and death decisions in the hospital’s ICU.

All of the American workers were displaced by a multi million dollar business that enriches Indian companies. The Indian replacements were working for much less than the American workers, who were told that they had to train these Indian workers or lose their pensions. This is happening all over the country.

Surprisingly, the 60 Minutes piece was shelved. I wonder why?

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out why the normally moderate stalwart of reporting on important topics would pull the segment down.  PC is now destroying one the great news shows in CBS history.

Below is a copy of the Numbers USA press release.

Spending bill would increase H-2B visas by 79,168 — Tell Congress to remove it from the bill!

Dear friends,

In November, Americans voted to put American workers first by controlling both legal and illegal immigration. But late, last night, Congress agreed to a 1,600-page spending bill to fund the government for the remainder of the fiscal year that increases the number of H-2B visas for low-skilled, foreign workers by 79,168 — a more than 100% increase!

Please immediately contact your three Members of Congress and demand that the foreign worker increase be removed from the spending bill before it’s voted on later this week.

The H-2B visa is a guest worker program for low-skilled foreign workers to fill temporary or seasonal jobs in blue-collar industries. The landscaping, tourism and hospitality industries rely heavily on the program, especially during peak periods. But, outside of these employers who use it to drive down wages and increase profits, it has little support.

Last year, the New York Times wrote a scathing editorial about the program, saying “Employers say they need to import these workers … because no comparable American workers are available. That claim does not stand up.”

BuzzFeed News also published a lengthy piece last year exposing the fraud and worker abuses within the program. For that reason, the AFL-CIO opposes increases in the number of H-2B visas.

Millions of Americans without a college degree rely on these low-skilled jobs to help bring extra income into their households. These are also the same low-skilled jobs that many high school and college students turn to for their first job or to earn money during the summer months.

Isn’t it time that Congress started putting these forgotten American workers first?
