Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Monday, April 22.

Baseball

Pikesville 10, Hereford 4: The Panthers put up seven runs in the first inning and cruised to victory. Jack Millman and Issac Garonzik each totaled three hits with RBIs in the win. Ian Davis drove in two runs, while Will Holaday and Michael Payne also had RBIs. Millman struck out 11 in six innings to get the win.

Softball

Bel Air 5, Bohemia Manor 2: Sofia Gallahue led the Bobcats with her arm and her bat Monday. In the circle, she struck out seven in a four-hitter. At the plate, she had two hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs. Elizabeth Zarsona and Ava Vecchioni also had RBIs.

Fallston 9, North East 1: Abigail Marmen and Maddy Burns each doubled and homered to pace the Cougars’ offense. Marmen also singled and drove in three runs. Burns totaled two RBIs and struck out 17 to get the win in the circle. Alesia Rowe also had three hits and May Ambrose had two RBIs.

Havre de Grace 14, Aberdeen 4: Brielle Croxsell, Sarah Weitzel and Lily Dalton all had three hits with Croxsell driving in three runs and Weitzel and Dalton each plating two in the win.

Rising Sun 5, Patterson Mill 0: The Huskies managed just six hits in a shutout loss to last year’s Class 2A state champions. Lily Baldwin, Kaylyn Pulket, Savannah Reedy, Audrey March, Addison Talts and Cadence Pfistner all singled.

Dundalk 12, Patapsco 1: Julie Burger shut down the Patriots, throwing a five-inning two hitter. At the plate, Burger had three hits and three RBIs. Makayla Woods backed her with three hits and two RBIs. Kenisha Gelpi and Carlie Locklear also drove in two runs.

Western Tech 19, Hereford 3: The Wolverines scored at least two runs in each of the game’s five innings and rolled to victory. Jada Williams and Ella Durham each drove in three runs in the win. Bailey Allen, Isabella Alban and Danica Minter each had two RBIs.

Perry Hall 12, Sparrows Point 3: Madison Carl went 4-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs to lead a big offensive day for the Gators. Shalimar Lopez added three hits and Amber Deems had two, each also driving in a run.

Boys tennis

Marriotts Ridge 5, Centennial 0: Mukundh Boopathi and Rafa Feldman won at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. The doubles pairings of Tyler Wang and Jerry He, Felipe Arantes Gabriel and Tobi Ijiyemi, and Sai Anuj Chodavarapu and Sam Lim each won.
