City leadership in Havre de Grace will remain the same after four officials ran uncontested in the 2024 elections.

Three of the six City Council members – Casi Boyer, Tammy Lynn Schneegas, and council president Jim Ringsaker – appeared on the ballot May 7 along with Mayor Bill Martin.

Martin secured his fifth, three-year term as mayor to continue his nearly 17 years of service as an elected official in Havre de Grace.

Prior to being elected mayor in 2015, Martin served as a City Council member for seven years, three of which he served as a council president.

Boyer, Schneegas and Ringsaker will serve another two years.

Of the reported 12,254 active registered Havre de Grace voters, only 461 – or 3.7% – cast ballots in the 2024 elections, according to a report May 7 from the city. According to the report, 459 standard ballots were cast on election day along with two provisional ballots.
